It is our intention to include all state committees working toward genuine universal health care (UHC). While there is no agreed upon definition for "universal health care" throughout the political landscape,
at EINO we have three essential elements without which
we do not consider the effort towards "universal" to be
genuine. And we will gladly include links to additional groups from additional perspectives also falling within the breadth of our principles.
While we cannot include committees which have no website on our map of
committees, we have a standing offer of creating a simple and free website for any committee in any state working towards
genuine universal health care. Please contact our webmaster about this offer
and look at our sample
site.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SIMPLE FREE WEBSITE AT everybodyinnobodyout.org
- Someone in the local group must be willing to serve as the responsible contact
party and have an email address and a telephone with an answering machine (not
necessarily dedicated to this purpose).
The telephone number need not be posted and the email address can be protected
(anonymous forwarding).
- Groups must be interested in genuine universal health care, including the
three elements EINO considers essential.
- Groups must be seriously interested in promoting a change towards universal
health care in their state. The only way we judge this is that the
"group (not one individual)" must be meeting with some regularity
(monthly at least) to
discuss a strategy, if not actively pursuing a plan.
There is no charge for the designing, posting, maintaining, modifying or hosting
the site.
No charge for anything, ever! These free websites serve to present your group,
its principles and allow people to join you (meeting and events
announcements). There is some limited space for documents to be published
also.
